May 2022

On May 24th, Robb Elementary School suffered a horrific tragedy after a gunman had entered the school after shooting his grandmother. In what is now being investigated as a grossly mishandled situation, 19 individuals had lost their lives before law enforcement intervened.

April 2022

The University of San Francisco School of Law’s Immigration and Deportation Defense Clinic was established in 2015 to represent unaccompanied immigrant children and women with children who have arrived at the southern border and are transferred to Northern California and the Central Valley.

March 2022

The Secure Families Collaborative is proud to announce our partnership with Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Santa Rosa Immigration Program. With over 40 years of experience, the Immigration Legal Services Department offers immigration legal services in Sonoma, Lake, Mendocino, Del Norte, Humboldt, and Napa counties and currently offers FREE legal services.

As 2021 comes to a close, we have been reflecting on a year that was filled with the immense challenges brought by COVID-19 as well as our victories in building capacity by working collectively with local service providers. Again, we wish to express our deepest gratitude for the support from our former and current fiscal sponsors, funders, county and community leaders, and most importantly, our committed SFC team and our incredible SFC partners.
